This ad has been showing up a lot lately... along with similar postings for other reptiles that are obviously from the same person. The local CL community here doesn't seem to trust this person, and his ads keep showing up repeatedly. I'm tempted to try to negotiate with him for at least one or two of the geckos. (I don't have room for more.) What do you guys think?

if the local CL there does not trust him there may be a reason why.

I think the reason they don't trust him is because of his attitude and that he might just be reselling animals as he buys them. I think I might try to convince him to let me take one off his hands for way cheaper than he's asking.

I personally try to steer clear from things like that.. it just supports those types of people in what they do... (resell). But if you really want to, then go for it.

Rescues are wonderfully rewarding, but I always insist on either free or very low fee with a lot of supplies.
Reason being that I normally drop at least $40 immediately at the vet
