Do leos normally cut down a hell of alot on eating around a year old? Or maybe a few months younger. Both of mine have stopped eating as much (They are in seperate vivs) A few people have said they do cut down but i'm just a bit worried. Thanks

That's what I heard, that they do cut down on eating around a year old. My 9 month old leo is starting to not want to eat as much as he used to. So don't be worried. :)

My leo is only 7 months and shes cut down tremendously. When I first got her she was eating 20 small mealworms/crickets everyday, now shes down to 10 med-large mealies or 5 large crickets 2-3 times a week.
I was worried at first but she's such a fatty there's no need to worry. I'm sure she's gaining more weight now than she did then. lol.

Mine seemed to, these days they only eat a super or 2 every other day or so. Seem happy and healthy otherwise, so I just attributed it to age.

They can also be sensetive to temps, stress, etc. Im sure you have read about all the hunger strikes on here :main_yes: They're reptiles after all, not as bad as snakes when it comes to time between meals, but they can go quite a while. They will eat when they are hungry.
