Leopard Geckos included. I take my Ribbon Snake outside a lot... I love when people stop me to ask about him... but not my Gecko since I heard that Leucistic Leos are sensitive to UV, and I don't think chasing a 7" Gecko through Brooklyn would be much fun.

In the summer I take the leopard geckos out sometimes on my porch to crawl around in the plant pots. I occasionally take my beardie places like the local block party, but not out and about on errands.

When the weather gets nice, I take my leo out in the back yard to run around. I just hover protectively over him the entire time :) I haven't had/heard of any problems and I think it's good for them to get fresh air. :)

We take the beardie outside. Have had the neighbors over askin just what we have on the leash. :D Won't do the geckos, too small for us and too many cats out and about.

I put my carpet python in my patio citrus and she just sits there all coiled up happy. But my anti-reptite wife tells me every time she hopes a hawk swoops down and takes her away. So not nice... :)

Kevin, we have hawks here really bad. I worry more for our white 3legged deaf cat when he's out more than the herps/reps. Heck..Texas squirrels are bigger than my cats. *lol*

They go up the back of my neck to my

Ride in the cap on the passenger seat....
at post office back on my head under cap.
Lift my hat inside post office....

I don't take my leopard geckos outside- there are too many birds of prey in Idaho for that to be safe and I live in their prime hunting area. Since they're so bright, I don't wanna risk it. But I let them crawl around on the floor by my porch door with the door open and the screen closed to they can get some fresh light and air.

But I occasionally take my bearded dragon outside, though I watch him and keep a close eye on the guy. His trips outside aren't very long though- if he hears a bird and or sees one in the sky, he get's spooked and I have to bring him back in.
