Ok. Ryan likes to make fun of me for this, but I like watching our geckos eat. I like the stalk, and attack they do, sometimes complete with tail shake. I especially like to watch the babies. I think it is hilarous how they will lunge at food, and sometimes all four legs go sprawling out in every direction. They will nose dive right into the bottom of the tub, then look around like they are asking "Did I get it?"

My geckos refuse to eat from dishes so i have to give them food items one at a time so i have to watch them eat hehe

I still never get bored of watching them though, especially if its roaches and they go chasing them all round the viv :D

I feel like I have to watch my 2 girls, one was always a bit bigger than her sister and one time they both went for the same cricket at the same time. The small one got the cricket and the big one got the small ones face in her mouth, they were ok though. Recently Ivy, the bigger one, did the tail shake they do and her sister bit her tail.

I LOVE to watch mine eat.
I especially love watching my hatchlings eat.
Because they'll eat ANYTHING I give them. No matter if I put it in a dish or let it roam free in their enclosures (which I normally don't let things roam free in their enclosures).

Yes, I LOVE when a leo appreciates the food items given to them.
I enjoy it while I can since I know that the ones that are females, when they ovulate once they're older, I'll be most likely PLEADING with them to eat.

I don't have time to watch each and every leo eat, but I do watch the young ones when they are having their first few meals to see that they are eating, and newly aquired leos as well.

I watch my leo's are lazy. They don't eat out of a dish. Haven't trained them lol. But I watch because my female takes my males food and because they don't chase them around the whole tank. I have only seen that once.

My male Giant tremp Al ZYM does that he is a baby. Little legs flail in the air then there is the "did I get it look". I love to watch him. My female LVPA hedwig licks her lips and swishes he tail before the killing lunge.

I voted no just because I don't sit there and watch them at every meal. I usually just keep a small bowl full of different feeder worms, so when I see it's empty I know they're eating. And I can see them gaining weight, so I don't monitor their eating. But sometimes I do watch them if they look like they're doing something funny while catching something. I can see them all from my couch, so it's easy to keep an eye on their daily acitvity.
