Most leos have a line that goes down the center of their backs. On some it's actually a little depression and sometimes it's a slightly different color. Somer people market them as "dorsal stripes", so I guess you can say that's what it is, but it isn't related in any way to the stripe line.
ahh ok thanks I don't have any intention to market anything, but I have seen people talking about dorsal stripes and noticed Vada had a prominent line and was wondering.
Our SHCTB looks like that too; it seems to look more defined than the normal line that goes down the back, and it's not an actual groove in the back.
But so dorsal stripe doesn't mean anything? Wasn't trying to market anything either, was just looking forward to some striped babies because we love stripes :huh2:
I have seen some very nice Dorsal Striped Tangs. As to them being a seperate morph or not I don't know. But I noticed some show the stripe more then others.
