Does This Mean He Is A Male?

I have read about males shaking their tales to show dominance, so here is my question. I have a 4-5 month olf leopard gecko who I THINK may be a male. I don't have him housed with any other gecko, he is just by himself. But when I feed him, he looks at the food and shakes his tail like a rattlesnake! This could be a novice observation, but it makes sense to me...any feedback?

Females sometimes rattle their tails. At 4 or 5 months old you can probably tell what sex it is visually.
