Is it normal for a gecko to associate a certain object with where to poop? My gecko Tequila would always poop where I place this hollowed log shelter. It didn't matter where I put it. Wherever it was placed that is where she would go poop! Is that normal?
I think they do associate a scent to where they poop, following the scent every time it seems, even when the object they poop near is washed, they poop there, who knows though, it may also be visual in conjunction with smell.
Mine does this crazy thing where he stands up on his hind legs in the poo corner for awhile. If he still doesn't go he turns around and props one hind leg up on the wall and then poos. Does anyone else's do this?
