Dex always goes in exactly the same spot. I've had to go away for a weekend a couple of times now and each time when I got back there were 3 poops stacked on top of each other perfectly, waiting to be removed.

Both of my girls poop in the same spot on the cold side, right by or under the ladder to the top level. Little Blazer poops on his top level which is tile, unlike his paper towel subtrate, so that's nice. Both cages are superrr easy to clean because of this.

Most of the time mine go in the same place but they can sometimes be awkward. My female decided for a few times the water dish was a porta-potty and my male pooped in his cool hide a few days ago.

I have also been "Christened" by my female who decided it would be fun to poop on my hand >.<

and she did poop on my leg/lap..and then I let her know that I was angry that she decided to do that...and in return, she decided to walk in it and make it stick onto her feet and all over my leg as I try to catch her and clean it up. I hope she doesn't think my leg as a toilet now...

Once upon a time, my geckos used to poo in the same corner. That was when I had them living together, used Eco Earth, and didn't clean out the poop as often.

Now that I've cleaned up my husbandry - they're separated, on tile, and I clean every day or every other day - they're all over the place. Emilio will poo wherever he pleases, even on top of his warm hide or in the middle of the tank. Pip sticks to the corners, but it's always a different corner after each cleaning. Mostly the front left which is the warm side, but sometimes the back left, and sometimes the back right. It's frustrating.

I have mine all in the same tank and they all use the same corner. Guess that's why they are a great beginners reptile......easy cleanup.

yes they deficate in the same spot almost EVERiETiME!!! if u notice there is poop in more then one spot then that means you have got to clean up!!!

The vast majority of my leopard geckos use only one spot in their enclosure to defecate, but have a few who's 'one spot' is on top of their hide, and a couple who use thier water bowls! Ewwwww.

Yes, all of mine do. I just need to lay some toilet paper in that corner for easy cleaning.

Yep, I do the same thing. Just cut the corner of a paper towel and always place it in their poop corner and they go on it every time. makes cleanup so easy! Cool, smart, and very clean little creatures these are!

mine also poop in one corner. On an interesting note, I was browsing leopard gecko videos on youtube and I came across one video that showed in the background what seemed to look like a little bathroom with a turd in it. It had little steps going up to a little square box like thing and i guess the gecko used that. It wasn't a water bowl, it was waaay to small to be one.

It's different for each one. When I had my boys together (when they were smaller and I was unsure of the sex of each one) they used the same side of the tank. When Mikko got his own tank he took some time before deciding upon one corner. Dante usually goes where he's always gone, on the left side of his tank. But recently he's been going in the middle at the front sometimes. My female Arella just goes wherever and it's so annoying. I'm used to my boys going in certain spots but she poops all over the place, and poops ALOT more than my boys do.

rex goes in the same spot, but leucifer and isabella never do. it's like i have to round up a search party to find isabella's too since she's so little, i WISH she would poop in the same spot all the time haha

Yep Greedo goes in a small spot in her cool area, though when she was young she pooed in her waterbowl twice, maybe she had a hard stool and this helped? She hasnt done it since.
