Dwarf Leopard Geckos

If it is genetic and does causes egg laying problems, then it still could be reproduced without worrying about egg laying problems. All one would have to do is get one homozygous dwarf male and a few het females and never breed any female dwarf geckos produced.

The dwarf owned by Reptilian gems is the only known female and is over 2 years old right? That would mean that every time she cycles she either reabsorbs her eggs, or passes them, right? Maybe Reptiliangems can shed some light on if she has ever cycled and what happened to her when she did.

I personally have nothing against dwarfs. Look at "miniature" rabbits, ponies, cattle, horses, dogs, etc., all are fine, just smaller than normal. There are some forms of dwarfism in which glands are affected and those with the trait usually die unless they recieve hormone shots to regulate their glands that control body functions. Since both of the known leo dwarfs are doing fine without medical help I would consider them to be healthy.

Who knows? Maybe eggs would be dwarf sized too. Many dwarf species give birth to proportionally similar young.

True, thats why this information would be important:
