she is quite shy and stays in her cage a lot (her choosing). we do not handle her, she has a MEAN bite LOL. she is three years old. she will be four years later this year

she has many names but we mostly call her "red bird" heh

she is quite beautiful. just think the males are MUCH brighter and colorful than the females.

*she is overweight

She's cool looking! Definately a bit overweight...reminds me of a few "seed junkies" I see at the clinic...although I wouldn't imagine that you feed your birds seed. She looks like she's kinda giving you the stink eye in that first pic, lol.

yeah she doesn't get much seeds thing is she was a breeder at an aviary and only there for breeding. she doesn't know how to play and she never wants to come out of her cage even though her door is always open. we have had her nearly a year now and she is learning to play (kinda). she does not interact with the other birds but it is not aggressive towards them. she really does not each much but because of her lack of "exercise" she is all fat and i do not know what to do.

she looks like an apple with really colorful feathers heh
