Egg A:
June 21, Boo layed this egg on the cool side of her tank.
It is candling yellow, but looking pretty much the same in the incubator.
Egg B:
The next morning (June 22), I found this egg on the hot side. It had been there a while.
It is now molding in the incubator.
Egg C:
About 5:00 in the afternoon, she did this
For obvious reasons, this one did not go into the incubator.
Egg D:
Yesterday (July 1) about 5:00 pm, she layed this one. It has only been 8/9 days since she layed the other three. She laid it on the cool side tile like she did the first one, and then stepped on it when she came out of her hide. It just bounced back though. It looks very fragile, and I was afraid to touch it, so I poured it into plastic wrap, and then poured it into the incubator. I haven't touched it since, but it still is looking jiggly like jello when I move the container it is in. This morning, it had little tiny droplets of water? all over the outside of it. I'm not sure how or why that happened either.
This was the only egg I took a pic of without the flash. With the flash, it was so shiny that all I could get was a glare. It is still funny colored though, like the color of the yellower part of egg A. I feel like it has a thin skin, but no shell. But since this is my first time too, maybe I just don't know what a good one looks like yet.
Should I be expecting her to lay another one soon? I put paper towels down just in case, since so far she has not shown any interest in any of the lay boxes I have offered her.
Is this just her being a first-timer, and still figuring things out, or is there a problem?
Is there something I can be doing to help her be sucessful?
