Hi.. Just want to know if anyone can tell me if this egg is due to fail? The two were laid on the 4 Apr 2008. Ive never seen an egg go like this before so im a bit puzzled as to wots goin on with it, its clutch mate looks pretty good tho! Ive enclosed a few pics and included one of the mother just for fun.. The pairings for this clutch were Raptor x Raptor so I really dont wannae loose either of them. Thanx

Thanx. I may just do that but I think it may be to late as the redness just seems to be spreading round the egg to quickly now. Ive notive that the egg smells quite bad, almost like its rotten !! :main_huh:

if you really want to, you can put that egg in a container by itself and see what happens... but in my opinion, that egg is going bad :(

Sorry :( it was probably just infertile from the get-go

The two eggs were definatley fertile. Ive just had to throw it now though, more than half the egg had turned black.. Cant win them all..

I hate it when you have fertile eggs and the correct amount of water and it still goes bad. Not the best feeling but what more can you do?

That's rough, it's always harder when they were fertile first, I'm so terribly sorry :(
