At what age/weight do leos begin producing egg's?

Probably before they should be. Last season, some of my juvies that I hadn't sold yet were ovulating around 6-7 months, weighing 45-55 grams.

You can start breeding females when they're over 50 grams and over 8 months old. They CAN do it when they're younger, but that can stunt their growth and lead to other medical issues. The males seem to get mature much sooner, so when they reach 3-4 months, I separate them, in case they were in a community hatchling tank.

Thanks I'm not planning on breeding any time soon was just wondering when they would start producing eggs.
