Egg question on twins

Well today my girlie laid 2 beautiful white eggs in her peat moss hide. However while the one egg is the standard size the other egg has got to be at least 1.75 times if not twice as long (not wide) When I candled the longer egg I it looked like two embryos! Are twins possible and would I be able to tell?

I cannot remember who it was but someone on here did hatch out twins recently so yes it is possible Good luck

A few people on GF have hatched out twins this season. So it's possible. As far as being able to tell, I'm not sure you'll know for sure until they hatch. Those who hatched twins seemed genuinely surprised, come hatching time.

I'm in the same situation. I am almost positive I have two hatchlings in one egg. But only time will tell.

Allright so its possible, awesome. I cant wait till they/she hatches. Is there a possibility for possible deformities due to there being 2 babies and only 1 egg?

Sometimes eggs are really huge but there's only 1 baby. Sometimes if there are twins, one or both may be smaller than usual, possibly to the point where it won't survive. THere's only 1 way to find out . . .
