Eggs too dry?

Is there any other signs off eggs being too dry other than denting? Using hatchrite and a bit concerned at how dry it is even when its fresh from the bag?

Denting is usually the telltale sign...if the eggs have enough moisture (assuming they're good eggs to begin with) they won't dent. If they don't, they will.

Basically, if your eggs aren't turning to raisons, you're pretty much good to go

i know hatchrite is pretty dry! even when first opened. but it sposse to be like this.
