Has anyone noticed and significant color change or development of head speckling???

I have noticed it slightly and I am really liking what this girl is turning out to look like... She is getting a really sweet yellow body color, her head is like a purplish pink color and the speckling is just super fine like pepper flakes...
She is turning into an even better choice for my planned projects...

Here is an update on my awesome girl after her shed today... She eats great and she has gained 5 grams since she has been with me... Such a quality loepard gecko...

Love the spots! Can't wait to see what you produce!

Yeah well its going to be a little while... She needs to gain some more weight and besides that, my quarantine period is at least 3 months depending on who it is from.... I will say by late fall she will be laying eggs...

The wait will be well worth it I'm sure!

Yeah, I just want to do this the correct way without letting a $1500 price tag cloud my judgement... Plus, I am not looking to just make "Enigmas" and a quick buck...
I am looking to make some jaw droppers...:main_thumbsup:

So waiting is manditory at this point in order for me to produce what I want and jaw dropping is what they will certainly be...

Sounds great! Considering you said you expect you'll have eggs by late Fall, I think I know who the sire is going to be. I wonder how the color is going to come out on them...

Mike, He will not be the initial sire but he will be used in a future Enigma project for sure... He will go nicely with what I plan on getting my first season with the Enigma...

How funny that you asked about spotting...

I'll let the pictures speak for themselves: (We think the changes are pretty cool!)

When we first got her -

And 2 weeks ago -

By the way, we haven't bred ours yet either. Our other female was 45g when we got her but we felt like it was a smarter idea to let her settle in and get on a regular feeding schedule (not to mention spend a little time in quarantine). We won't be the first to produce them but I think quality and health are more important than being one of the first to hatch them.

Mel, that change is pretty awesome and in my opinion, the peppering bettered the look of your gecko as it has mine... That tail is absolutly awesome on your girl...

And yes, quality and health are much more important than being the first on the block with hatchlings...

Oh, and thank you all for the nice comments...

Nice enigma i know you can't say for sure but if there was no enigma gene i think we'd be looking at a hypo just by how the spotting is.I think a bell hybino would be a sweet partner just bell coz a percent of enigma carry bell so i've been told. You'd maybe get half hypo enigma het bell ?? half hypo het bell and if she does have the bell gene then happy days :main_thumbsup: .
