Ok, I know this may hit a nerve or 2, but I was just poking around the Classifieds section, and remind you, I have been out of the loop for a while, but DAMN I can't believe the price drop in Enigmas! :main_lipsrsealed: :main_cool3: :main_thumbsdown:

I know. It's kind of annoying because I haven't been able to update my website in a while now, and when I went to post ads I looked around to see what other people had them posted at. Now I have prices in ads that are a lot lower than what are on my website, and people still ask if I'll come down another couple hundred bucks. I don't even know what to say.

I wasn't watching the classifieds for quite a while, so I don't know when it started, but it's definitely fallen a lot in just the last month or so. I knew it would drop eventually since it's a dominant morph; I just thought it would be more gradual.

Oh well. If/when I finish selling off my geckos it won't matter to me any more.

I don't regret getting into the Enigmas at all. They've been the most intriguing and challenging morph (IMO) yet.

Well actually... the only reason I might regret getting into them is that they're making it harder for me to get out of Leopard Geckos. lol

You CAN'T get out of Geckos altogether, you MUST maintain at least a few breeding pairs :main_thumbsup:

Wow. I certainly didn't intend to throw anyone under a bus. I thought I had done the opposite and been pretty generous, but maybe I was wrong.

I just checked the classifieds. I see Enigma prices ranging from $750 - $3200. Anyone that complains about "only" getting $750 for one leopard gecko is insane! Insane!!!

We figured by the time we had some to sell we'd be happy with whatever we got! lol I think maybe some of the prices on Kingsnake have been lower than they've been on here. I've seen a few really low ball prices there but being a dominant trait, I don't think we can complain about where we're at right now.

I'm just a little super sensitive about that topic right now so I hope you can forgive me. {{{HUG}}} I've had a couple of pretty nasty pm's recently from some Europeans complaining that I posted Bell Enigma females at $650. I'm not sure what they expect me to do, maybe hold onto all of mine until everyone else sells out? God I am so sick of all this Enigma stuff. It sometimes makes me wish I had never even become involved with them. It irritates me when people complain about selling geckos for $650!

I don't feel like I was thrown under the bus with my Enigmas at all! If anything, I feel like I was given my own personal bus!!!

I guess I should have said I got thrown under a "Mack" truck! I did get burned pretty bad with the Mack Snows, but I'm not sorry I got them. I'm just sorry I didn't wait until everyone else had a chance to work with them first so my originals would have been stronger.

So far, I haven't seen the Enigma prices fall as far and fast as the Mack Snows did. The problem is, that now that so many people have Enigmas, there will be more of them on the market, and prices will naturally fall.
