Ok i know i asked this before and was told no, but just wanted some extra opiions. Okay i am using a hovabator for incubating and not getting any condensation in deli cups. I look trho other pics and noticed some of you do get it. i am using moist vermiculite. I need opinions on if i should be getting condensation and if not should i add more water??

We have some condensation in our cups but we use Hatchrite and live in at least 70% humidity year round so we pretty much have condensation everywhere! lol

Drop your temps slightly, because anything higher may and mostlikely will cause a higher rate of embryonic death.

You just need to be sure you're not putting too much water in hopes of seeing condensation. If you see some droplets in the bottom of the container (assuming it's clear, lol), you should be alright.

Good luck!

I'm pretty sure Paul was referring to gecko breeder. Although, we incubate for 90* and so far haven't had any problems....

Hey John, how long did it take for your dented egg to begin plumping up? Was it dented from the begging(when it was layed)?

well it was an ugly egg to begin with but it wasn't dented when it was first laid. it started denting i guess last week the vermiculite was a little dry. i found it like that on friday and started plumping back up today so i would say it took 3 days but still isnt back totally. but does look a lot better

If you catch it in time, you can usually reverse denting unless the egg is infertile.
