My male leopard geckos Right eye looks black in color while his left
eye looks nice and healthy. Could this possibly be a shedding problem?:main_huh:

I took pics of his eyes but i can't upload them because the
file size is to big :main_angry:. I have them posted/uploaded under
my leopard geckos in the user CP. I would have been able to show you
them this way had they had not been so big.

Try uploading the photos to a photo hosting website, such as photobucket, then copy the "IMG" code and paste it into your message box.

Sounds like your gecko might be showing the eclipse trait...while you're at it, you might as well upload body pictures as well as eye photos.

If it's the color of the eye, and nothing swollen under or on the eye, you actually have something really good there!! Often, there are geckos that have one snake eye (Eclipse trait) and one normal eye -- like one all-black or all-red eye, and one partly black/partly red eye. It's a recessive gene, so if you pair your gecko with another one that has one or two snake eyes or is het for Eclipse, you'd get babies looking like this. You have a reason to be proud :main_yes::main_thumbsup:
