I know this is the wrong spot but I am desperate for an answer..

I am trying, and have tried several times, to feed my lady Gecko pinky mice.. but she just doesn't seem to want to eat them.. She smells, licks, then walks away.. does anyone have any reasoning why she won't eat them?
She will eat crickets fine.. but not pinkies..

I had a female jungle tremper who was getting thin and not eating this summer. I brought her to the vet and he gave me some antibiotic liquid for her. But aside from that, I gave her a few pinkies. I had to leave them in for several days. She wouldn't eat them when I first put them in, and the pinkie would still be there when I checked the next day. But the second day they were gone. So you might try just leaving the pinkie in there for 2-3 days and see what happens. Otherwise, I've found that waxworms are the preferred food for geckos who don't want to eat anything else.

The gecko I mentioned above ended up liking regular old mealworms. She's fattened up quite nicely and is living happily now.
