Injured Gecko & Shipping Woes

Hello,
Sure sorry about your hurt gecko. She does look thin. As Marcia
pointed out, the cuts don't look too bad.
I also experienced an injured gecko, however she was packed well,
just must have been due to rough handling and the gecko getting
caught in her moist paper towel. From this experience, the Leopard
Gecko lost her entire tail!
One addition to the suggestions is to add retile electrolytes to her
water. I did this for my girl and it seemed to help. Also, her tail
is regenerating nicely.
One other thing I wanted to post to the forum is when the package
arrived with large writing in red, all over the box, "Handle With Care"
& "Live Harmless Reptile" when the UPS driver was asked if he knew
what he had there, his reply was: "...no, I didn't read the box."
Astounding and disappointing to me. Just be aware the handling of
the live animal packages as you probably know, can be far less than
we hope for.
Best of luck with your Leos.

P.S.

As you can see, I was way behind on this post.
So sorry about the loss of the injured gecko.
