I'll let the piccies speak for themselves, although if someone could answer me, do hypos/super hypos get spots and then lose them again as they grow ?

Gorgeous babies. To answer your question, their bands resolve into some spots, fewer than for normals and then usually fade completely or mostly. There are cases where they fade and them some re-appear, most frequently with the hypo or superhypo stripes. I do have a super hypo (well, she was super hypo) who lost her spots and then re-gained about 10.

They are all absolutely gorgeous!! I really like the little "y"s on the heads of a few of them. The little mack snow albino has a heart on its head, I thought that was absolutely adorable!!! Congrats!!! :smitten:

Thanks aliza, i was unsure :)

All of the pics you point to, are from a very clean hypo x super hypo, amazing how different some of them come out :)

haha yeah i love the heart on the albino macks head, he's het raptor too ! be interesting to see if he keeps any of it :D

the snow raptor has more colouring that others ive seen, so i look forward to seeing how she/he grows up :D

hmm....ya they look exactly like mine but mine came from a tremper albino giant female and and either tremper or bell hybino(more then likely bell) and he looks hypo to me. Is that possible? Sorry for thread-jacking lol

Hi,

gecko guy, your parents are likelly a hybino bell (super hypo bell albino) and a normal tremper, which would produce normal hypo's (reduced spotting, some more some less than others) which are het for both bell and tremper.

also throw in that 50% of everything that hatches is likelly to carry the giant gene too, and dont worry about thread jacking, we're all here to help eachother !

hope this helps

Kev
