Fight Club?

Kelli, I understand that you have some things you need to do with this section, and this is more of a question than a rant. Can we expect Fight Club to be reopened? If so, do you know when? I have a topic that I think is worthy of discussion, and would like to start a thread. Thanks Much!

I can't speak for Kelli, but it is my understanading that the Fight Club is temporarily 'closed' for 3 reasons:

1. Someone was giving a non-club member information posted in the Fight Club, which is against the FC rules.

2. The person who received this information flipped out on Kelli and indirectly on me about it.

3. To keep ME out of there because I was having a hard time dealing with what was going on there.

I guess that's kinda how it works. One member's "blunder" messes things up for everyone. I don't agree with that, but I do understand why it has to be that way. So only Kelli knows if Kelli will reopen FC or not, huh? That's too bad. I had a "Market-Related" topic that I was just itching to discuss, and I thought that was the right place to do it in. Back to "Wait-and-See" mode.

Fight Club is now open again. Unfortunately, due to a certain member's copying/pasting habits I have had to put some new restrictions on membership to that section. My apologies to those that were once members but now do not meet the requirements.

I may be new here, but i'm far from new on forums in general. Like I said if I owned the place I would have banned him/her. But maybe that wasn't the way to go about it? Just restrict their access to places like this 'Fight Club'?

I'll keep my new self from topics like this until i've garnered a few more posts...just figured i'd throw in my .02
