Ive had a rough season thus far, as far as bad eggs, non laying females...even non accepting females..Seems like a string of breeder problems. i knew the frustration would lift once the few eggs I did get that was good started hatching. I finally got a Rw out today!
montanusX, Patternless stripe, Rainwater. Came from Shatter eye but I cant tell for sure yet what the eyes are doing hahah. Just happy to get my first RW this year!

Congrats on the beautiful baby! It sounds like your season is similar to mine right now. I hope it gets better for both of us.

Chris? In picture three, I am seeing something pretty cool regarding the eyes. Maybe it's just camera angle though too. Either way, the color on that one is spectacular! Keep It Up, Bro! :main_thumbsup:

The shatter eye is totally differrent than the eclipse. Matt and them have a shatter eye in the trempers I believe but also not related to this. This trait came from Jeremy letkey, I got 2 from him last year, I know he had some others but have no idea who ended up with them?
This appears to maybe be a dominant trait but I'm still testing it out. One of my females doesn't want to lay any eggs lol. I can get pics of my adults when ever I get home from work tonight
THANKS for the compliments everyone!

thought about my previous post...I cant say its totally diffetrrent from eclipse gene...i have not test bred to prove that. But it did not come from breeding the tremper gene out.

I'm sorry to hear that, my season's been rough too... almost all of the eggs i've gotten have been infertile...

Great baby you got there though! It's a beauty, along with it's dad!

My first Rainwater should be hatching in about a week, I am quite impatiently anticipating it's arrival...
make that today!!!
