pat your not listaining to me!!! lol...i know it was a rapter father. but does that mean hatchling is going to have the rapter eyes. it was cause of the father that i wasnt sure if it would or wouldnt
Sorry have to dissagree totally RAPTOR as you put it know as RED EYED,ALBINO,PATTERLESS,TREMPER,ORANGE; AKA ALBINO,ECLIPSE EYED,PATTERNLESS,STRIPED, not all :main_thumbsdown: ECLIPSE:main_thumbsdown: as RT puts it are patternless stripe's best amont of RT :main_thumbsdown: ECLIPSE:main_thumbsdown: as he puts them are full of black in your face spots the only one on his site i would call a non albino RAPTOR 852 so your trying to tell me that if all of the other :main_thumbsdown: ECLIPSE :main_thumbsdown: that RT has on his site was albino they would be RAPTOR's ??????????????.
Gazz, I wasnt sure you were talking about exactly so answering both ways. Red Eye, Ruby Eye, or "Raptor"= Albino Expression of "Eclipse". "Eclipse" is ONLY the eyes.
YES that is exactly what it is. If it has black eyes and is albino then they would be red not black.
Yes, the Eclipse refers only to the eyes. Eclipse is the mutation of the EYES, get it? So yes Albino "Eclipse" ARE "Raptors". Has nothing to do with the pattern the way Ron titles things.
Since I think you are talking more about pattern ignore that part:
I know that they are not stripes, because I have hatched ones like that, it is very doubtful they hatched that way. Look at how the spots are arranged, they are not normal stripes, "Patternless" is an "aberrancy" from the normal patterns. Not all "Patternless" hatch without a pattern, alot of them LOOKED LIKE Stripes or Reverse Stripe 3 years ago. Nothing has changed, go read RT`s description "not all hatch patternless blah blah blah faint cirlces, dotted dashed patterns" that is exactly what you are seeing there with the spots. Patternless is ONLY an "aberrancy" from the normal patterns, sure some of them are real nice and without a pattern, others turn out that way as they grow, or just simply do not loose all of the spots.
Like I posted in the other thread, the "Patternless" is different on EVERY SINGLE ANIMAL. Alot of them LOOK ALOT LIKE Stripes, Reverse Stripes, etc, BUT THEY ARE NOT. The very first Aptors, and Eclipse sold had spots and patterns too.
Thats exactly why PRS is a better name. Not all of them are"patternless" but "patternless striped" instead.
We hatched the very first PRS geckos along with Alberto ion 2005 my friend. I have hatched many geckos that started out much different then they are now. I have WATCHED Jungles, Stripes, Reverse Stripes, turn into "Patternless". I have seen just the opposite, and watched "Patternless" geckos turn into abnormally spotted monsters , totally different than they hatched. I have seen Reverse Stripes, turn into Stripes, then fade away into Patternless Red Stripes, etc, etc.
That is how I know that those are "Patternless" animals. Like we have said before the name does not really fit. I am looking for a pic right now, of a gecko like that, AND its hatchling photo. You will see what I mean, I have had enough of this crap! LOL
hey dan what confused me was that he said the mom was a red eyed and the father was a rapter. and now that you just told me that the red eye=ruby....well now i get it it. hahahahahaha. when ever i heard red eyes, i just assumed that they ment a normal albino with realy red eyes since the none of the albinos in general have red eyes, or just loose the red eyes as they grow. so now i get it
yeah, i deff think so. because when they were showen in reptile mag. he called them the ruby eyed. im a pretty fast learner, it just takes a couple times of explaning once in a while.
I've always thought of the raptor eyes...(solid red iris), as ruby eyed.
-snake eyes- (albino and non albinos)... are eclipse, because technically it's not a raptor if it doesn't have ruby eyes. Which is what the -R- in raptors stands for.
and the non albino, solid black eyed ones I like to reffer to as.... solid eyed. LOL intellectual huh??? It's just whats easiest for me. It just seems to narrow it down. Keeping it real yo!!
