I've been trying to avoid spending more money on tanks, heaters, etc because things are getting so expensive but I can't take it anymore. My AFT heaters are ridiculously hot for NO REASON in an air conditioned room, reaching 110degrees! My Leos heater got so hot it melted the tape and i had to use tweezers to hold it because it would burn my hands did I mentioned its on a thermostat!!!? Plus the 2 10gallons and 29gallon aren't so comfortable to work with especially were their located, ugh.

So I've given in and I'm getting the tubs from Home Depo or 3 Sterilite Tubs depending on my funds and if I can make it to the Expo, a bookcase, 3 new heaters from BeanFarm since I heard they're good and a BETTER thermostat! Might spend a few $100's but at least I'll still have my geckos at the end of the day. GRR!

I'd like to know what you guys would do? Put money into 3 hinge tanks or save the money get the bins and put money into a Helix thermostat or something similar?

+1 I would go with Helix. I have one and it works great and barely, if ever, fluctuates.

I agree. Get the best quality thermo you can afford (Helix, Herpstat, and Ranco/Johnson's are all good quality) and then worry about the look of the setup. While nice tanks look good the quality of care/environment outweighs looks by far. Tubs are functional, easy to clean, and with leos often are a better use of space since most tanks have height that is never used by the geckos. And frankly if you get nice quality plastic you get nearly glass-like clarity in some, KIS tubs and IRIS tubs have great clarity and while more expensive than most sterilite or rubbermaids they're far cheaper than any glass tank(and hold heat better too).

I saw some Sterilite (i think it was sterilite tubs) at HomeDepo pretty clear at like $4 each that were pretty big and seemed which is what I wanted, to have the floor space of a 10-15gallon tank so I can still use all the hides and stuff. I think I saw these http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc...splay?langId=-1&storeId=10051&catalogId=10053

Which size heater should I get since Ultratherms come is different sizes than what I'm used to getting!?

But do you know where I can check out KIS and IRIS tubs?

I'm going to see if my mom can lend me the money to get a thermostat and new heaters because this is absolutely ridiculous!!!

you should just swich over to a rack with heattape, i went from haveing 5 terrariums all over my room to a rack on 1 wall and a row still open. Also for thermostats, i recomend ranco because they are cheap and ive yet to have any problems with them,
