First attempt at ......LIGHTNING!

SO we are having a storm and I thought I would try to take some pics of the storm. These are my first attempt to try to capture the beauty of lightning. They turned out prety decent. Just thought I would share. Hope you enjoy them.

Thanks everyone. I will be "Chasing Storms" as a night time hobby . IT never made it over us no rain or immediate danger but was pretty cool. I would have been on the roof but " Thats crazy" I was told. None the less who would have thought one could have soo much fun Listening for a shutter to close.

I am using a digital SLR. I was set at IS0 100, A-DEP setting with a 75-300mm lens. I have read up on some stuff and am going to try a couple of different things and try to get a crisper foreground as well.
