The interesting thing with all of the weird looking Enigmas that I have hatched so far.. I think 4 of them have hatched with Black Eyes.. Then after about 3 or 4 weeks.. They start to loose them.

Very cool and thanks for posting! It looks exactly like the baby Patty Enigma you posted before minus the stripe... I say Enigma Blizz fo' sheezy!

David, I bet your feeling a little more optimistic! ;) Btw, I know what I want for those females now... :main_evilgrin:

Well it is a cool looking baby nonetheless whether it turns out to be Enigma or not. Hopefully, proving the ones in question out will reveal some helpful information to everyone planning on doing that cross in the future.

Things seem to be getting pretty odd (even more-so) with these crosses..:main_lipsrsealed:

I have hatched 3 blizzards as of the other night, from the enigma het blizzard X blizzard pairings. I do see the ear to ear marks on them.

Sorry for the abundance of pics.
Hopefully these pics can help out a little. This is my first year with blizzards and hets of the like. Some of my breeders have solid black eyes, some with a mixture of silvery looking shards in the snake eyes and some with plain silvery eyes. I don't think I can say whether or not these eyes on these hatchlings are normal blizzard eyes, due to it being my first year exploring this morph, but I tried the best I could to get some clear pics for everyone.

The first one here, this little one circled like so many enigma breeders have said, are typical of enigma hatchlings. My girlfriend noticed it and pointed this out immediately. The circling lasted for at least a week.

I think you got some Enigma Blizzards Juan! They (first 2 especially) look way different than any Blizzards I've hatched... Thanks for the pics!

That's what I was thinking, Michael. Those first 2 look very different than normal Blizzard hatchlings. Very similar to Kelli's.

Nice babies!!

Awesome hatchling!! I'ld guess it to be one enigmatic blizzard. The shape of the head alone screams enigma. It's hard to describe but enigmas just seem to have.....like a stream lined head profile so to speak. Idk if that makes any sense like I said it's hard to describe.:main_laugh:

Also if the white ones are the real enigma blizzard and not the dalmation looking one, then what is the one that turned out dalmation?

Just a random thought: Many blizzard hets are quite speckled for some reason. Couldn't it be that he's het blizzard and the enigma gene is just enhancing that trait?

Well, the one I hatched has solid black eyes, but then so did it's mommy.

hopfully it's eyes will go snake eye at lest, fingers crossed. Then you will be able to tell 100% weather enigma blizzard or not as there no mistaking enigma iris.IMO it does look a little differant than most blizzards so i'd say enigma blizzard but we need to see the iris really to be sure :main_yes: .I don't know if it's just me but if you put the picture in photoshop and dull the contrast & brightness it dose look to me anyway that it's has the a shadowing cast of the enigma head U and the blotch on the nose ?? .
