Okay, so.. The little hatchling who hatched yesterday (~1am) has a bit of a... twitch. I'm not really sure what to do. :3

He stands normally, walks normally even runs normally most of the time. However, when we accidentally startle him by lifting up the hide or moving his paper towel, he freaks out and bolts off. When he does, he does a sort of.. flip where he almost flips himself onto his back but then rights himself again.

I'm thinking it's something neurological.. But like I said, I'm not sure what to do. :x He's strong, isn't lethargic, just a little twitchy when he gets nervous or freaked out.

Anyone have any suggestions on what to do.. If there is anything I can do?

This is him:

Thanks. =)

Its called a brand new hatchling being scared and running off... Try leaving it alone and not picking up its hide for a couple of days and the "neurological issue" might go away... Their dexterity is not the greatest when they first hatch so seeming easy tasks like keeping all fours on the ground while fleeing a threat might not be so easy...

I'm with Gregg here... I tend to leave them alone for most of their first week aside from an occasional misting...

Thanks Gregg and Mike. =) The other 3 little ones weren't acting this way so we got a little worried. :x lol.
We were moving the hide to mist there, but we'll leave it alone and just mist around it occasionally. =)

Appreciate the input. <3

One of my twin boys was kind of like that when he was little . . . I agree with the others, give him a chance to mature and calm down a bit.
