Is it better to give a set amount every night? Or is it better to always keep the bowl full of mealies. Does either way affect how much your gecko eats if there is always mealies available? I've been giving a set amount every night and some of mine clean house over night and others take 2-3 nights to eat them all

I put a set amount in a bowl all mine come to the bowl. They only get fed every other night and usually only 4-5 in one feeding.

My gecko eats 12 mealworms every night. She is up to 73 grams. My baby I feed 10 per night sometimes she eats them all sometimes not but I feed the same amount every night.

I was always under the impression that mealworms were lower in nutritional value and mainly fibre. ..true or faulse?

It depends on what you feed your mealworms. If you feed them a good diet, they'll be a good quality food. I feed mine a high protien chick starter and a variety of fruits and vegitables. I would imagine if you fed your mealworms only wheat bran and potatos the nutritional value wouldn't be as good.
