That sucks bigtime! My apartment complex are a bunch of nazis too, but that hasn't stopped me yet. They dont allow any "aggressive" dog breeds, so what do i do? I get myself a purebred blue pitbull and if they ask I just say "It's a boxer/weimer mix" and that's that. I also have an 8+foot reticulated python (I used to have about 8 different large snakes) and they haven't found out. I just keep everything in my room. They shouldn't be coming in your home unless they have a good damn reason, and they're supposed to inform you if they're coming beforehand. If they're still doing that, then maybe add a lock to your door? I'd install a big bad lock to my room so they can't come in. Then, if they ask you just tell'em you got rid of everything. If she wants to see proof i'd just hide them in my closet or something. I've even gone to the point of throwing a blanket or whatever ontop of a cage to hide a critter from a maitenance worker lol. If you're hellbent on keeping your leos there are options, just depends on how sneaky u wanna be. Again, i'm sorry for this....it totally blows. Good luck, I hope everything works out.

Wow!! that REALLY sucks! :main_angry:
I would be pissed big time! What a bitch!!
I am sooooooo sorry that you have to part with your leos.

I know you already have them up for sale, but surly there is SOME way
you can keep them!?
How about friends or relitives? I know it may be alot to ask of them, but I think I would PLEAD w/ them!

As for your dumbass landlord, well, all I can say is, if it where me, she may find a REAL snake in her bed some night!!! :main_evilgrin:

I think they can. And with him being a college student i would say it would be hard for him to find that cheap of a lawyer.

I really think they cant because a guy from youtube(Muffdaddy2) had a thing on how he was taking this arpartment complex to court because the law says that they can't kick out a pet if its harmless.

I would tell her that you are selling off your collection, but it will take "a bit of time." How long? Longer than your lease that's for sure! But she doesn't have to know that.

That is so sad... :( I live in an apartment that doesn't allow pets either but I hide mine. :D A landlord can only enter your apartment with proper notice and for an emergency. She can't go into your closet or remove a blanket from a covered cage. I would keep your housing stuff and keep a nice male and two nice females for the time being...you are going to make yourself miserable. ;) Good luck!

They can prohibit pets, but they'd probably have to do it across the board. i.e. they can't say no pets to you and let someoneelse keep fish. they could say only fish though.

If your landlord is coming into your apartment as was noted there needs to be special circumstances.

They definitely need to give you some sort of notice or something of the like... In that case, you could keep them, but it's a little risky. As far as I know, we've kept pets without them being allowed before, so it's not that hard. Best of luck.
