She's not my friend.....
She's not my friend.....
That really doesn't come off as something nice to say about someone that did the image you use as your avatar for free! :main_thumbsdown:
Actually it's not...
I highly doubt it's registered- in which case they can't do anything if its copied, and second- since it's a design made for him he can pretty much do whatever with it (in the real world the company would have to buy the rights- but since it's free you really can't do anything about it). The second person can actually go and trademark it and the first person is pretty much SOL. That's the way things go.
It's just common courtesy not to copy other things, ESPECIALLY among friends and if they made the original design for you.
Yes and no. Images once created are infact copyrighted without the need to file anything. The issue is when one is copied and then altered, with at least a certain % changed (can't remember what %) then it is no longer a copyright issue as the user did. If the work was paid for or commisioned then the person that paid for the creation of the piece would own it 100% unless otherwise agreed upon.
The fact here is respect for someone elses work especially for someone that did something for you for free.
Can we just drop it!!! Seriously!!! Its over!!! This is like a month ago. Just shut up about it. None of your buisness!!
Your the one still posting about it.... :main_rolleyes:
