Frequent Shedding

Hi, Normally how often would the gecko shed.. One of mine is shedding every week.. seems very weird and very fast.. It shed 3 times already within a month but the other one only shed one..

can you show some pics of the one that is shedding a lot because it might have have something wrong with its skin like small cut or a scratch it might just be shed to help it heal

or it mean the your gecko is growing healthy and fast

Yea, usually reptiles will shed more often to heal a small wound. We had a snake that got bitten by a mouse and she shed several times until the wounds had healed over.

Oh.. I will take a shot.. It is shedding more frequently than its counter part.. Of course it is 1 week smaller than the other that i have..

I have one that sheds about every 2-3 weeks. originally it was because she shed stuck in her eye.

I found out the problem.. I think it is the same problem as you.. It have shed stuck in its eye... Saw the old shed on its eye lid popping out.
