maybe crosseyed?
neat eyes though

Like I said, this was my first thought as well. However I need to do a little research. It is very obvious that the pupil is in the shape of a triangle. It is not just a regular pupil that looks cross eyed. The pupil itself reacts to light and seems to work just fine in every way. I don't know?? We'll see I guess.

i dont know about the shape of the pupil but as for a cross eyed animals or persons. the pupil will react to light and work fine in every way, just the muscles are too weak to hold the eye in it's normal place.

One of the female rainwaters I recieved from you dan has one eye that is like that. I also thought she was cross eyed and left it at that but now I guess I have to get a picture to so I can be cool. :)

You mean coolER, Morgan. Anyone who's dealt with Morgan knows that he's one laid back, courteous dude with quite a collection of nice animals. How about some pics, cool dude ?? Also, I would think that a crosseyed leopard gecko would have normal looking pupils just canted forward. Don't know, just wondering.

dan it could depend on how crossed they were and how dilated they were when being photographed. see if you can get some photos with low lighting and no flash... ya i know its hard lol but see if you can

I hatched out a couple of tangs last year with eyes exactly like that. I tested it with light and it appears that the pupil can't close all the way. but only one side of the pupil is affected the front side were it points. I don't think it is genetic none of the parents have it so is it safe to hold geckos with this back for breeding?
