Funny names for Geckos

I have a Bell Stripe named Wheezy (he wheezes, or squeaks when you pick him up...it's cute!). And then I have a Gem Snow named Lil' Jim (original, I know), and then Jiggy my Normal .

All the rest have pretty normal names from what I would think.

For some reason, I always go with silly names for my leos.
I think it has something to do with the way they look :main_yes:

and my high yellow female is unamed.

and Google the gecko - whi isnt a leopard but was so named cause she looks like she has googly eyes

My one and only little leo is named DaVinci Killface

though I usually just call him/her DaVinci (thats also how the vet knows him/her), but sometimes I use DaVinch, or DaKill. But whenever he/she isn't eating (it's sick, I know, very sad) i use the full name, like a parent would: "DaVinci Killface, you eat that slurry RIGHT NOW!" lol, I love him, but I want him to get better so bad...I'm sure he wants it too!

Our leos are nameed: Mui, Tinkerbell (tink for short), Helba, Eve, and a soon to be hector (is being shipped) . We have 3 others (minus hector) that are being shipped so they still need names. One female and 2 males. so excited!

We don't have any funny names really.. just a group with Egyptian names, some with Greek names, and others with names that are from some of our favorite video games (Final Fantasy, God of War..)

Our friend Muhammad (HepCatMoe on here) has a AFT gecko named "Lunch".. I found that to be the most hilarious thing ever and I don't know why haha

Our newest hatchling is named Cheeto. Oh, and we have one named Stoney, which was named after my fiance's sister who had kidney stones and was in the hospital at the time it hatched.. we told her we'd name one after her and it was a little joke

We have two others that were named Pass and Stow since they were born on the 4th of July..those names were really confusing for the longest time, they both looked alike and I never remembered which one was named what.. so we found ourselves calling them "T-head" (he had a T pattern on his head) and "the other one" or "not T-head" lol. There's creativity for ya Mari :main_laugh: Stow was T-head

We have a couple of "funny" names I guess.

Our biggest is named Trogdor..."Trogdor was a man, he was a dragon man..." hehe...gotta love Strong Bad!

We have one named Kitty...she's got the sweetest face I've seen on a gecko...she's a great eater and hunter...Kitty just fit!

Fred...I blame my husband for that one. Some song by a comedian about how the guy didn't know so in so's name so he just called him "Fred"...we couldn't come up with a name for him...so that's what we decided on!

Pebbles and Freckles and pretty normal...we have Hope which is our special needs gecko and Mavrick that was named before we got her. That's all!

the song is called fred, its by Rodney Curington (SP?)... its just a fun random song that i happen to play, its about a man, and a horse, "the mans name was.... well i didnt know what his name was, so we just called him Fred... then when its talking about the horse, it says " and the horses name was... well we didnt know what his name was, so we just called him Fred" :main_laugh:

so with that said... we are horrible at comeing up with names for the most part... so... i herd the song... and then it hit me.... he was our last named leo... so we just called him FRED!

and to add on to more explanations... kitty... she was shedding one night and my wife says she looks like a cat... so from then on she became kitty! *to go with the reasons above*

and trogdor is a drawn character that "Strong Bad" drew, and made a song about... any guitar hero 2 fans should know the song... :main_rolleyes: they are all characters on a website homestarrunner.com and strong bad... well hes just awesome... i guess thats why he is my avatar! :main_cool3:

I have 3 girls:

Kali- as a baby

Kali as an adult, with Aria (my first leo- the albino)

Kali using her "sister" Shiva as a chin rest:

Aria was named thus because it was pretty.

Kali and Shiva were named because we got them together, and one was an albino and the other not. They are both Hindu gods (though Shiva is technically a male), but Shiva is named more after the summon on Final Fantasy... And that Shiva is the ice summon- light in color. Kali is the goddess of creation/destruction, and is darker in color.

I got a wee one named Fafnir (after the infamous Norse dragon). We call him Faffy or "The Faff" for short.
