Well as of today my patternless egg is 55 days incubating at 81. Still looks awesome and 4 more incubating, plus my female looks prego again. Seems like a long wait at 55 days but wont be long now. Lots of people say 60 days till hatch. Anybody want to guess?

If the actually substrate temp in the egg container is 81. my guess is 12 more days and I think it'll be a female too :main_laugh:

Don't feel bad I have 4 possible SS trempers due saturday and I'll be in Daytona. My GF has no clue about feeding/ tub setup and is getting a crash course in gecko care tomorrow night ;)

Hopefully Mine are late and my estimate is too long on yours ;)

My uncle the leo sitter, will call me if it hatches after I'm gone. I will be walking him through any problems. I have heard they dont eat for a week after hatching anyway. I have home setup and warm/cold sides tested. Plus 1000's mealies on hand of various sizes.

Man, Paul, you are the luckiest!!! :main_yes: ;)

My hubby got a crash course in baby gecko handling "in case" any of my eggs hatched while I was away on business........of course, they did, and of course, he handled it like a super star. ;)

My eggs also average (at 82 degrees) between 55 and 62 days. So Rob.......I'll guess 67 days for you - just for funzzies. ;) Good luck!!

Sorry, but I don't think that's a patty unless they change drasticly in 1-2 weeks .

call me crazy(I am admittedly), but I think the male may be a "banana blizzard" maybe judging by the eyes looking snake eyed?

They do look damb near exactly alike, but I VERY HIGHLY doubt that's a patty hatchling.

If indeed the parents are Patty female and (yellow) bliz male.. the hatchling would be a double het for TRUE banana blizzard which is patternless and blizzard genes together.

The male was baught from a knolagable breeders former breeding stock. He switched to fat tails. Both male and female look alike. would post pics again but photobucket not loading yet so will do that tonight.

I would bet money that Paul is right. That does not look anything like a patty hatchling. If you breed two of these babies together you may produce a true banana blizard.

I agree with Paul and everyone else.........that's not a patternless hatchling. :(

On another note, how many days until it hatched? ;)
