My gecko Cleo has been fine for a long time now. She just started ovulating I am pretty sure and I noticed that she started tilting her head to one side as she walks. She seems as though she would have a wobble...but has never had this issue before.

She eats good and has calcium in her cage which I continue to see footprints and nose prints in. I was told to keep calcium with vitamin d3 in the cage and this is what she and all my geckos have had in their bins for a very long time now. I just read in another thread however that calcium with vitamin d3 should not be offered at all times. Which is it?

She doesn't have any lumps under her arms so maybe she is in fact not getting the right amount of calcium? I have calcionate syrup and I have been giving her half-to 1 ml of this daily to see if it would help. Does anyone know what could be wrong and what to recommend? I am going to try to get her to the vet this next week. :(

Can you post a picture of her for us to see?

Everyone has their own way of supplementing. I personally do not offer D3 at all times but I know others that do and they do fine.
The majority of my geckos do not have the lumps under the arms and they are in perfect health, so I would advise you not to use that as a gauge of good or bad supplementation.

Since she is ovulating you might want to dust her food items with calcium every other feeding, just to insure she is getting enough. Also make sure to dust food items with a vitamin supplement like Herptivite once or twice a week.
