I know there are some artists on here and I would just like to invite them to post any gecko related art they might have! I'd love to see some!

Here's two of mine that might be of interest. I hope this doesn't make me seem to presumptuous, but I've been curious about other artists on here for a while. :)

Spiffy! Did you make your icon as well? I keep watching it over and over and over....:p

And, Jess, I mostly color my stuff in Photoshop 7.0. I use a Wacom Intuos3 tablet. :3

I LOVE the dragon geckos (the spines on the tails remind me a lot of the strophurus ciliaris ciliaris!). It looks like I'm not the only one who enjoys drawing bizarre animal mixes, lol! But you obviously have much more creativity than me. I'm going to have a look at your devianArt account.

I don't know if it count's as gecko art, but I had to color a ton leopard geckos for this article (scroll down to "Normales"). The models were also drawn by me. They are not too detailed and I'm not specially proud of them, but well, they are only for explanation.

I went to art academies since I was very young, and studied secondary education in arts modality, hoping to get into the fine arts degree... And then suddenly decided I'd rather become a computer tech, lol. Since then (almost three years now) I haven't had the opportunity to draw or paint seriously. I have some sketches of things here and there. But I'm too lazy to scan, and they are not too good anyway.

~squeeeeeeee! MORE DRAGON GECKOS!!! (please? with color?)

I intend on coloring a few of them soon. :)

And Kiya, I'd be happy to show you how to color in PS. It's pretty easy once you get the hang of it. Do you have a tablet or do you just use a mouse? If you're serious about doing more coloring in PS I'd suggest getting a tablet; it's more natural and is more like using real media. Anyway, if you want you can either PM me here or you can contact me on AIM or MSN; AIM: Obakemonoko; MSN: [email protected] .

I'm working on some Crested Gecko's right now, I'll see if I can post some pictures when they are done, when I go home I'll post some pictures of my other work, although I'm not sure if there is anything gecko related.

Kiya, I'm not sure if PS 7.0 is available any more. I think you can get elements (which I wouldn't suggest as it's very limited and mostly for editing photos) or CS4 or CS3. I'm hoping to get CS4 sometime but it's really expensive. I might be able to burn you a copy of mine (which admittedly, I didn't buy >.>;) but it has a working serial code number. You just can't register it online.

And, Pepper, I look forward to seeing your work!

That's a neat guide to geckos you took part in. Your coloring looks good! lol

I'm aiming to become a video game designer - mostly concept art. I'm earning my Bachelor of Fine Arts right now, but I'm planning on one day getting my degree in video game design as well.
