gecko eating vermiculite?

Ok so i found a poop today in my leo's cage and it looks like it's made entirely out of vermiculite. Is she eating the vermiculite, Is this normal. What should i do since she has babies on the way.

Consider using coco-fiber for your lay box, so your female isn't **pooping** bricks.

Golden poo is bad! Some of our females eat the vermiculite too, we actually saw one of them really going at it like it was a buffet or something! We had to totally replace the vermiculite and can no longer use it! We switched to moss...

Btw, that particular female was pregnant too at the time, laid a clutch the other day, and both eggs are fertile, looking good

Yes, we use coco fiber as well and it's great. It's very humid here so we don't have much luck with moss, it mildews.
