gecko has not come out of moss container ???

i have a container with moss in it and i belive my gecko is in there becouse he is nowhere eles in the cage and i dont know what to do, he has been in there for hours should i open it and check on him


ps this is my first gecko so im a newb

No need to worry, my leos always hide in theirs for hours but u could always pick it up and take a peak or get him out and put him back in there...no biggie

Couldnt hurt anything to give him a peek. I wouldnt be real worried about him staying in there. They tend to hide during the day.

Mine stays in the humid hide alot of the time too.
I have a clear box for mine so I can still see her in there.

my gecko is about to shed i think and he seems to stay in his hide a lot more than before. is that normal ?
