Anybody ever have this problem? All of a sudden today my gecko cant get enough of me handling him, i put him down after a bit and he wanders around and looks at me like a puppy dog. I put my hand out and gets in right away with little coaxing. Usually he avoids my hand when i place it in the tank. Thought it was strange but funny.

Haha, that is weird, my girl doesn't mind being held, but can some times not want to be touched at all, I guess she's moody... :main_laugh:

Dante is like that, I'll take him out to let him explore and walk around for about a good 30/40 mins and when I put him back in he just stares up at me while pacing as if he wants out again. Put my had down in there & he rushes for it.

When I try to put them back to their tank and they don't want to go back, they do sharp U-turns without getting a foot off my hand and will climb right back up to my arm!

Mine inexplicably adores his cage - he's got nothing against going out, and he'll gladly climb on my hand and up my arm if I put it next to him, but as soon as I've brought him back to the cage he gives it the "cricket look" and jumps in like that's where he was trying to go all along. :tongue3:
