Gecko shedding question

I bought a juvenile gecko last week, and since then he shed for the first time I’ve had him today. It is to my knowledge that they eat their shed for nutrients, however my gecko ate most of his shed and left some of it in his enclosure. Is this normal or should I be worried?

It's normal. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't and sometimes there's leftovers.
