This is the second in a 3-part series of loosely related articles. Last week featured an article about field herping in Namibia, including a look at a Namib native, P. rangei. This week, a German keeper and breeder of this species writes about their environment, care and breeding --http://www.geckotime.com/ecology-care-and-breeding-of-the-namib-web-footed-gecko/. Stay tuned next week for an article about importing P. rangei into the US from Europe.

I looked them up a few months ago when i saw one on animal planet on a snake show. It was the oddest looking gecko i have ever seen.

They are very cool and fun to watch. I don't have any but Matt (Selectgex) has several groups and they are always hard at work digging their tunnels. I'm so glad I get to visit them whenever I want and don't have to house or feed (not to mention pay for) them.
