Haha! Aww how neat. There may be something to that belly up thing, because my geckos will only let me mess with their toes long enough to get shed off when I have them with my hand grabbing their torso from the back and then flipping them over. Then they'll sit there in a U possition for a few minutes while I do stuff to them. Maybe they're like sharks? lol they go into a trance in that possition?

I'm on the camera.
It's my gecko buddy Rambo.
He can slow his pulse or heart rate
by a yoga type of method???
Not sure how he does it.
It's like he puts himself on idle.
But many animals, including geckos,
go into a relaxed or non fearing state.
I thought it pretty cool to video.

Oh wow! She does look like she's in a trance. She seems to be quite affectionate - letting you touch her head and stuff. My geckos only seem to tolerate it although Mandarin will let me flip her over or rub her belly which she really seems to like. There are times when she seems to enjoy me petting her back as well but neither of mine will let me do that.
