Hello, new here and new to reptiles. I'm Pappy and have done saltwater reef tanks for many years and shutdown my last reef last year. Had NO plans on anything reptile as I also have 4 rescue cats and did not want to provide live cat toys... My local reptile shop, Predators, in Mesa AZ said to just be alert and follow common sense and all will be safe.
Two months later, I have a mating pair of Madagaster Giant Day Gecko's (we didn't know they were male/female - Greg & Milo) so I am now set up for egg incubation and raising young MGD gecko's! Was worried at first, but have some really good support and I have experience raising parrots from egg to chick, so actually very excited! I hope this forum is well active, I look forward to being part of this community!
