So my rack is setup everyone has water dish and a hide. Gave them a day to settle in, then next day gave them food. took out food they didn't eat which was all of it. Gave them another day to settle and just put in food tonight. day 4 and no one is interested in food. Anyone have any ideas? Not to worried but just wondering if anyone else has had a situation like this?

Think your dead on with the temp idea. Just put a probe INSIDE one of the boxes only 82 inside hide. the helix probe is directly on the tape set at 92. Reptile basics told me probe needs to be on tape or it will void warranty. Guess ill turn up it 98 and see what i get inside bin. Anyone know what the heat tape can handle temp wise?

That is good to know... think 4 days of my boys and girls being in 80s is going to cause any harm? turning it up slowly now.

You can also insulate underneath the rack and put another strip of heat tape on the top of the rack to "contain" more of the heat if you want to get a couple more degrees..

well heat tape is up to 108 and bins are 88 think that will be fine?

I have my probe directly on my heat tape and my herpastat reads 105 deg.Inside the tub on the warm end is 95-97 deg.Your warm end should be warmer. What substrate are u using?.
