i once stayed up to see him eat till 12 pm and i still didnt see him eating (i know he is eating cuz the crickets in his viv keep reducing and he has a fat tail), he only eats crickets and no other feeds, i once layed a mealworm in front o him and he didnt "see" him, he has no problems with his eyes or sumthin

Several of my geckos are very reserved about eating. They won't eat if they see me watching or standing near by.

Judging by the pic, Slash looks healthy. He is eating which is good. If he wasn't I would be concerned about possible sand impactation. Most eat really late at night but some of mine will eat no matter what time I put mealworms in.

Sand is always a concern. But for your question, maybe you watching him makes him nervous.

So, nothing is wrong just.... leopard gecko character

your fine i went through the same. all it takes is time.. I find that if I am close to my gecko when he is eating he eventually gets used to it :D
