Generator?

I didn't know where to post this. I hope this is the right spot.
I have several eggs in the incubator, due anytime between now and 2 weeks. My female is gravid, I think for the last time this season. Anyways, living in South Florida we have the most insane weather here. It's ridiculous. My power went out today for the 3rd time since i've been incubating these eggs and I after I nearly wet myself because I was so scared I managed to control the temperature during the outage with those "Therma-Care" heat wraps that you use when you hurt yourself. And after the lights came on, and I did my dance of joy, I went searching for some sort of small-ish generator that could ONLY power my incubator in the time of an emergency. I've looked at Wal-Mart, Home Depot...I only see large, gas powered ones. Ones that cost and arm, leg and left kidney. What I'm looking for doesn't seem to exist. Or does it? Does anyone have such a thing? Something small that you only use to power your incubator? And if so, WHERE ON EARTH can I find it??? Thank you.

Well, generator + in the house is a bad idea, so don't even think about it. If you read over all the hurricane info we get it says to keep it outside or if in the garage, the door must be open.
We have a power supply thing like that small one. I've not tried it for the bator. I've found with it being so hot here in Fl, that even if the power is out, the temps in the bator don't drop below 75 really. Those heat pack things in the camping section work well in a pinch to keep more heat in the bator. Oh, that power thing is noisy too. I'm not sure how long the battery would last.
