is the Drywall mud safe? I'm really freaked out about using things in my cage that might be harmful.

I've used it for about 6 months now, and it's fine. Just be sure to seal it.

Wow! Love the way it turned out. Another idea--paint "A" a vibrant color like you said, but try and put a sandy or grey color on the rest...it'll make it look like the "A" sort of occurred naturally out of rock---which would, for lack of a better word, rock lol

Acrylic Sealer.

I think it's a really cute idea. It will look awesome painted. i'd def get one if my hubby wasn't such a "naturalistic" freak. He spends hours cutting hides out of the river/creek rock that he goes and gets.
