LOL @ Mari

Heather, I was pretty shocked when I saw them, didn't think they'd be doing anything this early! Most of our breeding groups for next season aren't quite there yet either, these two were some breeders from this past season ;)

Lol I keep seeing that picture and all I'm thinking is some Barry White music hahah!

Jess, you can bet that if mine were big enough, I'd be having them together now. The female I'm paring one of my males with is ovulating, the male just hasn't gained enough weight yet!

Taking Pictures? How rude! :main_laugh:

Jorge, normally the breeding season runs from February through September, but because we live in a warmer area, our geckos tend to breed sooner. I didn't expect them to breed this soon, really. If they weren't already housed together, I would have put them together in mid-December.

Heather, yeah I believe we have at least 3-4 months, if not more, before Kratos and his lady friend will be ready! But great things come to those who wait ;)

Thanks Fallen Angel, I live on a warm area, but now winter is getting cold, the rack temperature is 77°F, I was thinking of putting together my pair of SH, but what you think is the best thing to do, wait or try putting the female for 5 days if there's any copulating?

Thanks a lot

You could try putting them together to see if there is any copulating. Are the temps always 77 degrees, on the warm side too? With it getting colder, they may go into hibernation. We have had a few begin to hibernate, these two in particular never did though. If they do go into hibernation, they won't be copulating until it starts warming up again.

In the rack, warm size is 77°F, and cold side is 73°-74°F.. Ill put them together, if I see copulating I will leave them 5 days, and if I don´t I'll wait for February, thanks Jess..
